The one thing I would change about my house is the size of my kitchen. If I had enough money, I would create an addition to my house that expands the kitchen and dinning room. My hubby works for a steel sheeting company and has experience in the building game so I think he could oversee this project.
Presently there are four people in the house. The dinning room is attached to the kitchen and is only large enough to accomodate a round table. The kitchen is a walk through and if you closed up one of the doorways, it would be U-shaped. When there is more than one person in the kitchen, you have to keep to your own space or ask the other person to move so you can get items out of the cabinets. We cannot entertain in our home because there is not enough space. Besides, cooking a holiday meal would be impossible because there is a lack of cupboard space. I have to store pots, pans, casserole dishes, baking dishes, and other items in the basement. Therefore, I have to frequently carry items up and down the steps to be able to cook. If I had enough money, I would expand my kitchen and dinning room so everyday cooking and entertaining during the holidays would be more enjoyable for the entire family. |

Nothing can top the great feeling of the summer rays hitting you once you come up from the water on the beach. Just taking the day to kick back and relax, on the beach with a nice cool drink on one side, and your group of friends on the other - or perhaps in the park, laying under the shade of a gazebo, playing the guitar or just chilling out. Enjoying the sound and smell of the beach during the summer is overall one of my greatest experiences during the summer. Since it is the time of year that will permit such carefree fun in the outdoors without worrying about pesky weather issues such as rain, or bad wind. With the coming of summer of course comes the best part, Summer vacation. It allow me to spend alot of extra time with my kids. So I can show them the wonders I have come to learn about this great season. Summer overall is the best season at least my opinion. When else can you surf, swim, hangout and just have a great time. |

Seasons keep on changing from time to time, one giving way to the other. All seasons have merits and demerits. Summer - even though is the hottest season of the year - has its own charms. Some people cannot tolerate the heat and feel very restless due to excessive sweating. I enjoy going outdoors during summer season, whether it's lounging under my EZ up gazebo, or going for a swim in the sea.
The evenings are very pleasant during summer season and it really feels wonderful going out in the evening and enjoying the cool breeze. During the day time fans, coolers and air conditioners are used to keep the heat away. The best thing which I like is that we are able to enjoy different types of refreshing cold drinks and different varieties of ice creams. Children are especially happy as they get to eat these things. Also I enjoy wearing light cotton clothes during summer as these clothes keep our body cool. I mostly prefer wearing white cotton clothes .I enjoy a lot by going out during summer. |

If I had enough in my budget, I would finish my basement. Currently, I simply have a washer and dryer down there. It is not a dark, scary basement. However, it is not welcoming. If I had enough mone , I would make the space inviting. I would make it a place where my children could gather. The space would be a great place for parties or get togethers. It would be spacious and open and feel warm. I would get rid of the cinder block walls and change them to drywall. I would not make it a room that was for a specific use, but rather one that anyone could fall in love with. I want the room to feel like it is inviting to anyone. I would almost want it to feel like an apartment for someone.I want to make sure that the area feels inviting and warm. I also want the basement to have recessed lighting in order to give it a more open feel. I would insure that lighting was used to prevent the space from having a heavy feeling to it. As it stands, I have saved up only enough money for a cctv dvr kit - security is my first priority! |
