The buying of vehicles has become so common considering the increasing population. Even the very young today own their vehicle since they have been made available. This increment has not only creating more traffic jam in the roads but has also caused variety of accidents that have lead to the loss of more lives. Because of the vehicle traffic caused by the increasing number of vehicles in the roads business motorist have found a way to make money. As the vehicles increase, motorbikes also increase with the aim of transporting passengers to their destinations as they can easily pave their way in the traffic and go ahead of vehicles. Unfortunately, the business is broadening today such that the drivers are becoming careless in their driving because of competition. All of them fight to make more money and thus speed up their drives to catch up with more passengers. This has been the major cause of accidents today because the drivers drive in between vehicles and in that mood cause unexpected accidents. I am 24 years old and a sales agent at a big company that I am working with. As one of their benefits, they promised to provide me a car so that I can easily get to my clients without any hassle. My supervisor called me because I needed to sign for some contracts with the bank they're loaning my car with. I am actually not very familiar of how things will work because I have no concrete idea on how I will manage their questions. As the officer was explaining the terms and conditions of the loan, she reiterated the fact on car tax by direct debit. I had no idea what that was and I was a bit shy to ask on what it was but I had no choice but to meticulously ask about important matters. There will be two names at risk on this contract, mine and the company's. If I would just keep on nodding on what the bank officer keeps on explaining without me knowing what it really meant, I would be taking everything at risk. It is better to ask even though you would look so ignorant, rather than just listen without learning at all. |

One of the most striking things about vacationing in Scandinavia is how clean it is. Not just the cleanliness of the beautiful nature, but the cleanliness of the cities. This is most true in Norway. Having worked in the self drive sweeper hire for a few years, I do take special note of how countries keep themselves tidy, and Norway scores very highly.
There, when the teens descend on the city parks on the few warm days of the summer they come and eat and drink and smoke and play, and when they are done there is no trace that they were ever there. No trash, no waste, nothing is left behind for "someone else" to deal with. The public places are clean and litter-free all day long. So one can not say that humans simply can not be expected to do this. Norway is living proof that humans can. But it just takes the mentality of a society to make it happen. |
